Belcurve just released their new EP, These People in My Head, Vol. 1, really proving they’re a force to be reckoned with in the Austin music scene. This EP is a beautifully eclectic, diverse collection of songs that will keep you listening, from the upbeat hits perfect for dancing and singing your car (at the top of your lungs we might add) to the heartfelt ballads you can get a good cry to. We can’t get enough of the first track and single “Strangers”. This catchy synth forward track is the perfect summer hit. Throughout the EP, Sarah’s vocals are the star, especially in track “Portland Rain” with her sorrowful lyrics and pleading vocal lines. This song also showcases a violin that drives throughout with its powerful lines weaving in and out of the music. “These People In My Head” is an intimate track featuring beautiful harmonies.
Even though we’re done writing this, we’ll probably keep listening to this EP because well, that’s just what you do with good music. Listen for yourself on Spotify today! We’re excited to have Belcurve joining us for FullNote Presents: OutYouth Benefit & Bleached Roses EP Release at Barracuda on September 15th.
